Its so hard to see when the sky is falling around you.
Peoples hearts calling out your name
where do you run.
who do you turn to
when the ground erupts around you
take my hand and drag me away from the chaos
it will consume me
i need you now more than i ever did
you are the one who saves me
where do you run.
who do you turn to
when the ground erupts around you
dont look back the fire aproaches
my love will hold true
please will you save me
i love you
where do you run.
who do you turn to
when the ground erupts around you

Lyrics- Destroying False Idols
She's coming for you. Brace yourself for impact.
There is truth in the unconscious, unlock the door to enter into freedom.
Destroying false idols to save yourself... is it all worth it?
Death and distruction follow in your wake, rivers of blood flow at your feet.
It's in hell where we will meet.
You are a true antichrist but your fighting for the wrong side.
We will meet in hell when you die.
Without religion we would all be safe.
Stop the fighting over all theese stupid mistakes.
Destroying false idols to save yourself, but is it all worth it?
She is coming for you. Better turn your back and run from death.

Lyrics-Down The Rabit Hole
Where am I? What have you done to me?
You're lost and alone in this world with no-one to find you,
Look inside yourself to see if you can find,
The scraps that were your soul.
If you're lost and afraid,
Let her take you by the hand,
Down the rabit hole to find solace in her twisted embrace.
Take the hit then take the fall,
Deeper you dive into your soul.
Im falling higher and higher, the crowds are fallin too,
The rivers have washed away but I can still feel you.
If you're lost and afraid,
Let her take you by the hand,
Down the rabit hole to find solace in her twisted embrace.
Take the hit then take the fall,
Deeper you dive into your soul.
Lets take a trip to a new plane,
Try not to escape we will be back soon,
To end this twist of fate.

Salvia Divinorum
Salvia Divinorum AKA Salvia is a sacred entheogen with hallucinogenic properties.
Salvia comes from Mexico and was used by the Mazatec Indians for thousands of years and still is. It is known as the Diviners Sage or Maria Pastora. Salvia is a herb and a member of the mint family and closely related to sage Salvia Officinalis the herb commonly used in cooking. Salvia Divinorum is the only member of the Salvia genus that contains the psychoactive chemical compound Salvinorin A. Salvinorin A is not a chemical alkaloid as it contains no nitrogen atoms. Salvinorin A works on the kappa opioid receptor of the human brain.
S.Divinorum is normally smoked through a pipe or a bong as smoking in cigarette form doesn't get the Salvinorin A hot enough to vaporize. Traditionally salvia was taken as a quid and the compounds absorbed sublingualy through the mouth. To achieve this chew bunches (5-10) of fresh leaves and hold the liquid in the mouth (quidding). The effects of this method take longer to set in but are longer and more mellow than the effects of smoking.
Recently a verity of extracts have become available from 5X the strength of plain leaf to 60X. My first encounter with Sally was 15X and to my surprise this had no effect on me what so ever. Where as Bandit had quite a good experience as he mentioned in his previous blog, he saw everything in a cartoon world. It should be warned that many people DO NOT enjoy their salvia experience. I personally think this is because many people try salvia not knowing anything about it and expect to get the same effects as cannabis. This is not the case as salvia is used to have a spiritual experience or in my case to better understand my self by exploring my mind. If you go into an experience with salvia with this mind set you are much more likely to have a positive trip.
Salvia is a spiritual plant and should be treated as such. It's by no means a way to get "high" as I once thought.
Many people find the trip as an out of body experience. they loose almost all connection with the world around them. It is strongly advised that if you are going to try salvia you should start with a low dose and have a sober sitter present. a salvia trip if you are smoking it lasts between 10 and 30 minutes and can be very intense especialy with higher level extractions.
Salvia is currently legal in the UK but some states in the US have banned the substance and the plant. I urge you to check out Salvia Source http://www.salviasource.org . Its a website dedicated to the growing and preservation of salvia and many other entheogens. They also have a shop where you can buy your own Salvia Divinorum plant and have a very friendly and active community on the forums that will share thier expert cultivation knowlage with you.
WARNING: Salvia should not be taken lightly. it is a powerful helucenogenic. Donot operate machenery or drive for 2 hours after taking Salvia.

I'm wasting my life
Well its 1:32 am. I woke up from a dream about half an hour ago, a dream that made me realise I'm really wasting my life.
To start things off I'm falling way behind on my college work. There's no excuse for this I love the course I'm doing its something I was looking forward to for months before we started college. I'm behind purely due to the fact that I'm so lazy. its gotten so bad that now I'm being forced to come in on my days off to catch up and when I do go I still don't really get much work done. This is my chance to set me up for life and I'm ruining it for no good reason, I would love to go to uni but the way things are going ill be lucky to be let on to the second year of college.
Next thing is free time. Seeing as I don't get back from college till half 5 most days and it really tired me out, I don't really do anything when I get home. I don't go out which means I drift apart from my friends and don't meet anyone new and I don't have a girlfriend There's so much I could do in this time but instead I choose to waste it playing games or not really doing a lot at all. This goes for weekends too I get up way too late in the day and miss out on most of it although i do spend weekends with my friends mostly which is a plus. One thing I could be doing is looking for a job, which leads me onto my next point.
I need a job. I'm spending more money that I ever used to and its getting to the point where my parents just cant give it me any more. I'm quickly running out of clothes too and need to pay for my driving lessons and a car. But as I said before I just don't make the effort to write a CV or ask around for jobs.
I'm becoming pathetic. What sort of chance do I have in the future with this attitude?
Something has to change

GUEST POST
Napoleon Total War
I have recently purchased Napoleon Total War since I am a fan of the Total War series of games.
Empire: Total War
Having enjoyed the other release of Empire Total War, the new strategies and feel of the ranged based game, while playing both as the Great British Empire ( woo go Britain! ) and the Prussians. I spent roughly 4 days straight trying to complete the game and failed time after time so I decided to buy the new game.
The first thing that I noticed when buying it was the price, as with all PC games these days the prices are unbelievably low but I believe I was lucky to not only find it on sale but also to get the Imperial edition for less than the normal edition, (ask Smokey, he was there) at £15 .99.
Secondly I noticed that, once I had finished the long process of installing all 20+ gigs of the game, the fact that the developers have used an enhanced graphical engine in game. It delivers the same detail of graphics but runs A LOT smoother on my system than Empire Total War allowing for lower end rigs to run the games new massive battle system.
As I stated about the new massive battle system, new edits to morale, and the effectiveness of units now make it very hard to have a army of a single line infantry as you could on Empire, particularly if you expect to win. Now you have to use more than one unit and vary your troops with line, light, cavalry and artillery for any chance of winning against the new and improved AI.
Finally, to keep this blog from extending into 40 pages as I describe every single detail , is the campaign. With the new campaign you have the option to follow in Napoleons footsteps or to oppose him as one of the great empires of the time such as Britain. This allows you to take your own steps to see if you could do better than the generals of the time or to follow them directly and re-live there war.
There are also parts of the campaign that are good to see introduced such as the environment effects on the squads and how morale and money in the region can determine deserters etc. This allows for a more in depth consideration of the strategy involved in completing the campaign. Another good introduction is the new list of diplomatic options that there are such as trade embargoes adding yet again another layer of atmosphere to the game.
There are also old aspects returning to the game that were left out in empire, such as the sacking or occupying of cities, but even these have been revamped with the ability to form protectorates and new nations in regions you have captured. To save you having to defend and control another population and region, you can let the AI do it for you without any direct implications to you.
Another good aspect to see returning is the missions that are presented to you for extra income such as "take this settlement or get a trade agreement with this empire", allowing you to have some variety in the game, rather than the simple ideals in Empire Total War where missions were very few and far between and did not supply any benefits to your game.
There is also a final note to add about the units in game and in downloadable content that add historically accurate units and descriptions, division names, ships names such as the elite troops of Napoleon and the ship HMS Victory.
9/10

Skullcandy Hesh
I recently purchased a pair of skullcandy hesh headphones to replace my skullcandy ink'd earphones. I was a little concerned that the sound quality would be well.. a bit shit.
MAN was I wrong. These headphone had got THE best sound quality I have EVER had from headphones or in earphones. Obviously there are better ones out there but for the price its really not bad at all.
I payed £59 for my pair. which I realise now was a bit more than i should of. As you can see amazon has them much cheaper thank I found them. (There's an option at the bottom of the page to change it to the UK)
They have nice crisp high and mid tones and deep bass. I am very dedicated to the bass in songs (being a bass player) and these headphones give you plenty. Also they can go load enough that if your in a relatively quiet room you can just hang them round your neck to listen to your songs. The best thing about this though is that they do not distort a bit on full volume.
Comfort is also important and the skull candy hesh are perfect for me. The ear pads are big enough to cover your ear but not so big that the fall off. The top bar is padded too, you hardly know its there.
The only concern I have is that the plastic that connects the band to the pads is a bit weak but as long as your careful they should be fine.
I highly reccomend these!
Overall I give then a 9/10 and a SMOKEY SEAL OF APPROVAL!

My 1966 Lambretta J50
Then, I had the frame and pannels painted while I stripped the engine. I got the forks, wheels, petrol tank, and engine cowling powder coated in silver, and polished the engine casing to within an inch of it's life. Then, after aquiring some new tires, I assembled the negine on the kitchen worksurface, and put the bodywork together in the dining room.
I Then set about sorting all of the small things, the seat catch, running boards, speedo, centre stand, frame badge, and I got the seats and recovered, and a spare wheel cover made.
And, by the time I'd finished I had something that looks like this!

First off I'd like to congratulate Bandit on a superb first post and a sick little rhyme about moshing :P
So yeah...well done.
What to expect from smokey in blogs to come.
If you guys intend to stick around (which I hope you DO) you can look forward to: Me giving reviews and guides on computers issues and computer components, me and Bandit Reviewing recent gigs and live performances, epic rants and moans about subjects yet to be decided, some Witty sarcasm, some geeky humor, and maybe trip reports if we get round to it.
Also I shall be here to inform you about various entheogens (google it) some of which I cultivate and grow and many philosophical thoughts I tend to have regularly. I'm sure Bandit will help me get them into English for you all to understand (hes more cleverer than me).
I Would also like to bring to your attention the comment button at the bottom of each post. We would LOVE to hear your feed back on each blog so please get commenting. i would also like to request that you spread the word about us by sending this link to all of your friends. http://reflectionsofsmokeyandthebandit.com

It could get tough!
But it's no fun,
If it's not rough!
So, it might seem harsh,
You think it's lame?
Dude, learn to live!
Don't be tame!
Ok, you get knocked down,
You're picked back up!
It's all a laugh,
Who gives a fuck?
So, now it's your turn!
Break the trance!
Go for gold!
LET'S FUCKING DANCE!
